The Prettiest Gowns in All the Land / by Alaina Kaczmarski

I've been to my fair share of weddings over the past few years, all with brides donning stunning Vera Wang and Oscar de la Renta gowns, but I have never seen movement like this in a bridal gown! Granted the brilliant photography of Erich McVey for Once Wed and Jose Villa helps capture it just so, but whoa–are these gowns by Samuelle Couture (her name is actually Sam Walls Beasley) not the prettiest you've ever seen?! I'm in love, I'm in love, and I don't care who knows it! In researching the British-now-New York designer, I realized the spectacular skirt that graces the cover of Style Me Pretty book is, no surprise, also by Samuelle Couture. Good stuff.

I just found a great q&a with Sam (shown here with her baby son!) on Style Me Pretty with photos inside her New York showroom shot by the talented KT Merry. Check it out here.

Why had I not heard of this designer before? Any of you big wedding fanatics? Who are your favorite bridal fashion designers?
